Filippo Perbellini is a soulful singer, songwriter, and Fender Rhodes pianist from Verona, Italy, whose sound bridges the timeless elegance of Motown with the sophistication of contemporary soul and jazz.

A prodigy from childhood, Filippo won the Saint Vincent Festival at just nine years old and went on to perform on Italian national television shows including Bravo Bravissimo, Canzoni sotto l’albero, and Veo Veo with Teresa Rabal. By his teenage years, he was training at CPM Milan and already collecting wins at major song festivals. His breakthrough came in 2009 at the 59th Sanremo Festival alongside Riccardo Cocciante, which led to his debut album Metà & Metà on Universal/Motown—making him the first Italian artist ever signed to the legendary label. That same year, he was honored with the AFI Award for Best Emerging Artist at the Wind Music Awards and performed on X-Factor Italia.

Since then, Filippo has built a career between Los Angeles, London, and Italy, working with Grammy-winning producer Tommy Vicari, legendary songwriter Rod Temperton, and soul icon Jeffrey Osborne—who also became his vocal coach. His projects have featured powerhouse collaborators such as Judith Hill (Michael Jackson’s This Is It) and Bridgette Bryant (Stevie Wonder).
